Founded in 1970 by Johnny Pierce, the original Mohawk Recording Studio played host to Southern Louisiana legends like:
Gatemouth Brown
Skip Easterling , Jack Templeman
Billie Morris, Kent Kurcher, Dave Bennet, Trey Cane
Rene Richard, John Costello, Joe Barry
Tommy Alfortish
And more...
In 2018, Pearl River resident Gary Triola resurrected the studio along with industry veterans Pat Salvador and B.J. Lehn. Their mission is to preserve a piece of Southern Louisiana music history and provide an authentic, professional recording experience for future legends - right where musical history was once made.
